The Arab American University is seeking to hire a “faculty member” in the Faculty of Medicine, as of Fall semester 2023/2024.

The faculty member is expected to be able to teach, provide interactive lectures and lessons, use virtual reality devices and committed to imparting the necessary knowledge and skills to students. The faculty staff must be highly professional, adhere to professional ethics, and be a good role model for students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Teaching, guiding and assisting students in understanding complex medical concepts and applying them practically.
2. Conducting exams and assessments for students.
3. Conducting innovative research and studies and participating in scientific seminars.
4. Supervising students’ research, reports, and scientific activities, and guiding them scientifically and ethically.
5. Providing health care to patients or participating in educational surgeries.
6. Adherence to deadlines.
7. To participate in curriculum evaluation and development.

Skills and Qualifications Required for the Job:

• The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in medicine from an accredited university.
• The applicant must have a Palestinian Board certificate in one of the following specializations:
• Internal diseases.
• General Surgery.
• The applicant must have experience in teaching and academic work.
• The applicant must have be interested in scientific research.
