The Arab American University is seeking to hire "Faculty Members" on a part-time contract to work in the Faculty of Information Technology / Department of Multimedia Technology, Jenin Campus, starting from spring semester 2024/2025.

The faculty member is expected to be able to teach and deliver lectures and interactive lessons and to be committed to conveying the necessary knowledge and skills to students. The faculty member is also expected to be highly professional, committed as well as to be a positive role model for students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Teaching and delivering face-to-face and online lectures.
2. Conducting exams and assessments for students.
3. Conducting research and studies as well as participating in scientific seminars.
4. Adhering to deadlines.
5. Participating in curriculum evaluation and development.
6. Providing guidance and counseling to students.
7. Commitment to office hours.

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:

1. The applicant must hold a Ph.D. or master's degree from an accredited university, specializing in multimedia technology.
2. The applicant must be proficient in using 3D design and modeling applications and programs.
3. The applicant must have experience in using video editing and digital image processing programs.
4. It is preferable that the applicant has experience in teaching and academic work for a period of not less than one year after obtaining the doctorate or master's degree.
5. It is preferable that the applicant has published research activity in indexed journals and participated in relevant conferences.
