The Arab American University announces an opening for a Public Relations Officer in the Communication and Public Relations Office at the Ramallah Campus. This position is offered on a full-time, fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will support and promote the University’s internal and external activities and events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and organize events and activities both on and off campus.
- Receive official guests and delegations and coordinate their visit programs.
- Support the development and implementation of the department’s communication and media strategies.
- Manage and update the University’s social media platforms and respond to public inquiries.
- Conduct photography and video coverage of events, including editing and script writing.
- Prepare and write news articles and media content.
- Perform fieldwork assignments within and outside the University campus.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for departmental activities.
- Prepare regular reports on events and activities overseen by the department.
Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Media, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with training or experience in protocol, etiquette, guest reception, and event management.
- Proven experience in photography, video editing, and script writing.
- Strong news writing and content creation skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing artificial intelligence tools and modern digital applications.
