The Arab American University announces an opening for a “Student Affairs Officer” in the Deanship of Student Affairs, at the Ramallah Campus, on a full-time, fixed-term contract.
The employee will be responsible for managing students’ complaints, directing them to the proper departments, and offering the necessary guidance and counseling promote a safe and supportive university environment and build students’ trust in the university.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Issuing new university ID cards and processing replacements for lost cards.
- Organizing interest-free student loans in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and providing financial support to students in need.
- Monitoring the implementation of decisions made by relevant committees regarding student violations, including recording penalties in accordance with university rules and instructions
- Handling students’ complaints and issues, guiding them to the appropriate departments, and ensuring proper procedures are followed to resolve them according to university policies.
- Offering students guidance on university policies and procedures, and participating in orientation day at the beginning of each academic year. Preparing regular reports on student cases and submitting them to the Student Affairs Administration

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sociology, or Education.
- Minimum of three (3) years of practical experience in an academic institution.
