The Arab American University announces an opening for a “ Dental Laboratory Technician.”  to join the Faculty of Dentistry at the Jenin Campus, on a full-time, fixed-term contract.

 The Technician will possess deep technical expertise in prosthesis fabrication, a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship, and a passion for supporting dental education in a clinical laboratory environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and manufacture dental prostheses and artificial teeth according to the required specifications.
• Ensure quality and accuracy in all manufactured products.
• Manage the laboratory sub-warehouse inventory.
• Provide students with the necessary tools and materials during practical laboratory sessions.
• Train students on laboratory practical requirements within their specialization under the supervision of the course instructor.
• Discuss educational clinical cases with students inside the laboratory according to each case and under the supervision of the course instructor.
• Monitor and follow up on public safety measures before and after each practical laboratory session.
• Prepare orders for materials, tools, and equipment required for each laboratory before the beginning of each semester.
• Stay updated with new developments and technologies in the field of dental technology and remain committed to continuous learning and skill improvement.
• Ensure the implementation of infection control policies and supervise students during their work in the laboratory.

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:

• A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Dental Technology from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of one year of practical, hands-on experience in the field.
• Must hold a valid Palestinian Professional Practice License from the Palestinian Dental Technicians Syndicate.
