A delegation from the Arab American University has visited the Governor of Tubas and the Northern Jordan Valley, Ahmad Asad, to inform him of the work mechanism in the Prosthetics and Orthotics Factory.

The University delegation included the Director General of the Prosthetics and Orthotics Factory at the University, Eng. Mustafa Irshaid, the technical director of the Factory, Mr. Waleed Abu Samra, and the Director of Public Relations at the University, Mr. Firas Saifi. They were received in addition to the governor by his office manager, Athir Salahat, and the legal advisor, Dr. Moaz Bsharat.

At the beginning of the meeting, Governor Ahmad Asad welcomed the University delegation and informed them of the general situation in the Tubas Governorate and the Northern Jordan Valley, from a political, economic and social perspective, praising the role played by the Arab American University in terms of academic, scientific, research and services provided to Palestinian society, including the Prosthetics and Orthotics Factory. He stressed that it is a great achievement, and its presence is one of the qualitative and distinguished projects that serve many sectors and saves costs of traveling abroad.

For his part, the Technical Director of the Prosthetics and Orthotics Factory at the Arab American University, Mr. Waleed Abu Samra, gave a detailed explanation of the Factory and its work mechanism, and the various and unique services it provides in the Middle East. He noted that the Factory competes with many factories worldwide, because it provides services in a qualitative and advanced manner using global scientific technology and devices.
