J. S. Daraghmeh was born in a town called Kufurrai in the north of Palestine, in 2004; she was awarded the B.Sc. degree in Biology and biotechnology from the Arab American University, Palestine, and M. S. degree in the years 2011, from Al -Najah university, Palestine and did the research in Germany in the field of molecular biology. She is currently a lecturer of biology with the department of biology at the Arab American University, Jenin, Palestine .Her research focuses on the prostate cancer and medicinal plants. Jamila awarded Zmallah scholarship for research in Italy in 2018 and still work on her PHD proposal.
