Dr. Ra’id Q. Shomali is a Marketing academic and practitioner. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Bethlehem University (Palestine), an M.B.A. with a dual concentrations in M.I.S. and e-Business from Lewis University (U.S.A.), a Training of Trainers & Consultants diploma from Maastricht School of Management (Netherlands), and a Doctorate of Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing from Southern Illinois University (U.S.A.), where he was awarded a prestigious Fulbright scholarship award.

As an academic, Dr. Shomali has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing and management at Bethlehem University (Palestine), Southern Illinois University (U.S.A.), and Indiana State University (U.S.A.). Currently, he serves on the faculty of the Graduate School at the Arab American University (Palestine) in the area of Administrative and Financial Sciences. His research focuses on the marketplace interactions of migrant consumers, digital marketing, non-profit/social marketing, social entrepreneurship, and donor relationship management.

In his professional practice, Dr. Shomali's consulting career emphasizes impact consulting and tailored training interventions targeting specific organizational needs across various sectors, including for-profit, non-profit, and government organizations. His expertise spans strategic planning, marketing strategies, integrated marketing communications, digital and social media marketing, branding, teamwork, board capacity building (nonprofit boards, municipal and village councils, etc.), leadership skills, fundraising, and donor relationship management.

Dr. Shomali brings a unique blend of cultural sensitivity and innovative pedagogical approaches to his training intervention. He is dedicated to fostering the personal and professional development of those with whom he interacts, firmly believing in each person’s capacity to attain their optimal potential.
