Dr. Sajed Faisal Hussein Al-Ali Ghawadra is a dedicated academic and healthcare professional from Palestine. With extensive experience in nursing education, research, and administration, he has played a pivotal role in shaping healthcare practices and training future professionals. His expertise spans mental health nursing, clinical training, and leadership in various medical institutions.
As an Assistant Professor at the Arab American University-Palestine (AAUP), Dr. Ghawadra has been deeply involved in nursing education and research. He has supervised multiple postgraduate theses, contributed to numerous publications, and participated in research committees. His work emphasizes psychological well-being, job satisfaction, and evidence-based nursing practices.
Dr. Ghawadra has held key leadership positions, including Head Department / Coordinator of Nursing, Pharmacy, and Allied Medical Faculties at AAUP’s Ramallah Campus. He also serves as the Chairman of the Institutional Review Board (IRB-R/AAUP) and has been an active member of several university committees, contributing to curriculum development, clinical training oversight, and research governance.
Dr. Ghawadra earned his Ph.D. in Mental Health Nursing from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, focusing on the impact of mindfulness-based training on psychological distress and job satisfaction among nurses. He also holds a Master’s degree in Community Mental Health Nursing from An Najah National University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the same institution.
