Implementation and Compliance
To ensure the successful implementation of this policy, AAUP will:
Assign overseeing the implementation, communication, and monitoring of this policy to the university VP for academic affairs supported by the Quality Promotion Department.
Develop and update comprehensive guidelines, procedures, and resources that align with this policy to support faculty and staff in delivering high-quality learning experiences.
Provide professional development opportunities for faculty and instructional staff to enhance their teaching skills, explore innovative pedagogies, and incorporate technology effectively.
Offer training and guidance on the ethical and pedagogical integration of AI tools in teaching and learning.
Establish mechanisms for gathering feedback from students, faculty, and other stakeholders to inform ongoing improvement efforts.
Regularly review and update curricula, assessment policy, and learning resources to ensure alignment with program goals, industry standards, and emerging trends.
Measures
The following measures (indicators) can be used to assess the utilization of this policy:
- Student Engagement: Percentage of students participating actively in class discussions, assignments, and projects.
- Student Success Rates: Percentage of students who complete courses and achieve desired learning outcomes.
- Innovative Pedagogical Methods: Number of innovative teaching methods or technologies incorporated into instructional practices.
