Overview

The Electrical Engineering & Renewable Energy (ELERE) program is designed to meet the needs of the Palestinian community by producing electrical engineers with expertise in renewable energy. Students will be trained to serve both the electrical power system and the growing renewable energy sector, focusing on their integration into conventional grids.

Electrical engineers with knowledge of renewable energy can address global issues such as energy resource sustainability, gas emissions, and environmental pollution. Therefore, skilled engineers in this field are increasingly in demand, and this program aims to fill that need.

The ELERE program is developed in line with the recommendations of leading international bodies in electrical engineering and renewable energy.

Vision

The Department of Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy aims to cultivate engineers who are globally skilled, ethically principled, innovative, and dedicated to contributing to the service of society.
