It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at the Arab American University (AAUP) in Palestine. Our faculty is a multi-disciplinary consisting of medical imaging, physical therapy, occupational therapy, medical laboratory sciences, environmental sciences and technology, prosthetics and orthotics.

The faculty has witnessed since its inception great leaps towards providing our market with highly-skilled graduates. Since holding the position of the dean of faculty of allied medical sciences in September 2021, we strived to maintain high level of education, scientific excellence, and innovative extracurricular activities. We look forward to upholding the many achievements piled over the years. This faculty will continue to evolve through developing the five departments of the faculty by attracting high-caliber researchers and teaching professionals. In order to lay the foundations of high-quality research and teaching atmosphere, the faculty will carry out activities such as regular scientific meetings and workshops, inviting local, regional, and international researchers and academics to present their work before the faculty members, technicians and students. Furthermore, distinguished faculty members will have the opportunity to attend workshops and scientific conferences.

The Faculty of the Allied Medical Sciences is committed to equipping its departments with new equipment on an annual basis. Department like radiology, medical laboratory sciences, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy will be updated with new teaching and laboratory facilities regularly. The faculty is currently running the physical therapy center inside the university campus occupying a full flat in the faculty with professional technicians and physiotherapists providing service to the local community around the university. Faculty students are trained in the center translating theory into clinical practice.

To our dear students! we offer you a new style of learning that is based on proactive learning that minimizes memorizing and encourages the students to take the initiative to participate using social-media and other available means. We believe the new generation has the responsibility to build a brighter future for their people with science as the corner stone for this sacred mission.
