The event included a series of interactive and educational stations that allowed visitors to know about the nature of communication disorders and the challenges faced by individuals affected by them, through practical activities, experiences, as well as realistic simulations, in addition to specialized awareness corners in the fields of speech, language, hearing, voice, and swallowing.
The awareness day also included educational hearing tests, a demonstration of devices and technologies used in hearing assessment, and the distribution of educational materials and awareness brochures prepared by students and faculty members of the department. The aim was to disseminate knowledge and promote a culture of early detection and intervention.
