Overview

In spite of general deterioration of health services in Palestine due to the obstacles and difficulties created by Israeli occupation, the dentistry department was established, on September 2000.  The mission of this department includes:

  • Improving oral health in the community by fostering leaders in education and dental care.
  • Providing the community with highly qualified and skillful dentists through continuous development of its curriculum.
  • Promoting high quality research that serves the local community by establishing a center for research and postgraduate studies

The dentistry department offers the Doctor Of Dental Surgery Program . which is a five year program with 211 credit hours.
