AAU provides its students with a well-equipped dormitory. The dormitory contains 110 rooms. Students can choose a double occupancy room, a single occupancy room or a suite each comes with campus view or city view. This dormitory is managed and supervised by the Deanship of Students Affairs.

There is a required health insurance for bachelor students.

The student is absolved from English level courses if the students has a TOEFL score 500 or above, IELTS score of 5.5 or above, or passes the English level exam.

A regular student at the university can study courses at another university.

All our tuition fees can only be paid through the Accredited Banks or PalPay payment points in Palestine.

You can enter to your email through the following link (http://email.aaup.edu) or the university official website https://www.aaup.edu and click on “E-Services” Menu.
Use the same username student's used for the Portal, followed by the student's domain. Example (username

student.aaup.edu)
and use the same password used for the Portal.

A student may not register for a course unless he or she has passed a previous required course in the past semesters. He / she may register for the same course and prerequisite course concurrently in the same semester if he / she has studied the prerequisite and failed or if he cannot graduate unless with the both courses.

You can change the password for your accounts at Arab American University by yourself, according to the below following steps:

1. Use
   following link for Students( https://eservices.aaup.edu/rp ) 
   And the following link for Academic and Administrative Members ( https://eservices.aaup.edu/rpe )
2. Enter the following data as shown below :
    
   • User name in field No. 1
   • The current password in field No. 2
   • New password in field No. 3
   • Repeat your new password to confirm it in field No. 4
   • Mark the verification code referred to in No. 5
   • Finally press "Change My Password" button referred as No. 6
      

    

   

Note: Please make sure that you use the correct service between changing the password for Students and for Employees.

If you have forgotten the password for your accounts, you can create a new password for your accounts by yourself, according to the below following steps :

1. Use

2. Click on "Forgot your password" button and follow the below steps :

4. You will see part of your email that’s registered on the university system.
   Noting that the data is recorded according to the Edugate (Portal) System for students and recorded on the HR (MenaME) System for employees.
   You will be asked to enter your full e-mail address to confirm your identity, and after pressing the "Send" button, the verification code is then sent to your entered e-mail address.

    

   

   If you want to use a different method instead of verification email, you can click on "Try another way" button.

    

   
   
    
5. After receiving the verification code, enter the data according to the below steps :
    
   • Enter the verification code in field No. 1
   • New password in field No. 2
   • Repeat New password to confirm in field No. 3
   • Finally press "Change password" referred to field No. 4
      

    

   

Note: Please make sure that you use the correct service between changing the password for Students and for Employees.

The general average is the average of all the courses studied by the student according to his study plan, close to the nearest two decimal places and calculated as follows:

(The sum of credit hours *per grade for each course) / (total credit hours).

It’s the average score of all the courses studied by the student in a particular semester, close to the nearest two decimal places and is calculated as follows:

The student Fails the course and receives an (FA) score, the grade is calculated at the quarterly average and the cumulative average, and the student must apply for an excuse, if any, according to the university's instructions, for a maximum of one week from the case. In order to give him the chance to apply for an incomplete exam.

Students are given the opportunity to apply for an incomplete exam if they miss the final exam. The excuse is as follows:

• Death first degree relative (father, mother, brother, sister, husband, wife, grandfather, grandmother).
• Arrested and provide proof to the Deanship of Student Affairs.
• Renewing the visa for students living abroad.
• Hospital admission due to illness with a medical report from the hospital and accredited by the university clinic.

The minimum 12 credit hours and the maximum 19 credit hours, taking into consideration further details of the following cases, that can be found in detail in the University's instructions (expected graduated, notice, honors, field training courses, English Level of the student).
