The shortage of nurses specializing in nephrology nursing poses a significant obstacle to providing high-quality preventive and therapeutic care for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease. Graduates with a Master of Science in Nephrology Nursing are expected to provide high-quality care in a variety of general and specialized settings, such as dialysis units, kidney transplant units, as well as other intensive care units. The theoretical and clinical foundation of the program aims to enhance students' abilities to assess the care needs of kidney patients, evaluate the quality of care, conduct research in the field of nephrology, and make appropriate treatment decisions for these patients.
