The Arab American University, under the supervision of the Human Resources Department and the Quality Development Department, concluded the "Internal Quality Auditor according to ISO 9001:2015" course, which lasted for two days.
The course was delivered by "MAK International", the authorized representative of the global LRQA organization, with the participation of 14 male and female employees from the internal audit team. The training was presented by the auditor and lead trainer of quality systems, Eng. Mohammad Al Sayed.
The course focused on developing the participants' skills in implementing internal audit operations according to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. It also focused on risk management and continuous improvement.
The University President, Dr. Bara Asfour, stressed his full support for such training, pointing out the University administration's commitment to developing employees' skills and applying the highest quality standards to achieve institutional excellence.
"We are committed to providing all the necessary resources to enhance performance and achieve progress in various fields", Dr. Asfour added. He also thanked MAK International and the internal audit team for the success of the course.
For his part, the University Board of Directors Advisor for Planning and Development, Dr. Adli Saleh, praised the role of the internal audit team in enhancing administrative and academic excellence within the University. Dr. Saleh stressed the Board of Directors' full support for initiatives that contribute to improving performance at all levels.
At the end of the course, the University President, Dr. Bara Asfour, distributed certificates to the participants, with the presence of his Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hazem Khanfar, the trainer, Eng. Mohammad Al Sayed, the Director of the Quality Development Department, Dr. Sami Sader, and the Director of the Human Resources Department, Eng. Abdullah Mustafa.
