Many students from the Faculty of Medicine at the Arab American University are getting prepared to participate in summer courses for 2024 at highly prestigious British universities, “Dundee, Glasgow, and Oxford,” for the sake of developing their academic and scientific skills.

The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Malik Zaben, met with the students accepted for the summer courses, discussed with them the necessary procedures and arrangements for travel, and gave them an explanation about the special arrangements made by British universities to receive students. He also and stressed the importance of investing in this opportunity in order to build a professional promising future.

Dr. Zaben also explained that the Faculty of Medicine at the Arab American University is unique in holding such courses based on agreements with prestigious universities in the United Kingdom, and it has become an annual tradition, and within the framework of interest in graduating distinguished doctors to provide the Palestinian community with medical staff capable of dealing with medical cases. Those doctors are also capable to communicate with the outside world, especially in the most prestigious global universities, allowing our students to meet their counterparts, medical students from all over the world, where they will participate in lectures delivered by distinguished scientists.

Dr. Zaben praised the role of the University administration in supporting these initiatives and activities morally and financially, despite all the circumstances the country is going through.
