Arab American University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri in presence of VP for Training Affairs Dr. Nizam Diab, CEO of Mahmoud Abbas Foundation Mr. Jamal Hahdad who visited the university to thank their donation of a computer lab to a school in the Palestinian camps, in addition to enhancing cooperation in scientific and service fields the institution cares about.

During the meeting, Hadad praised Arab American University cooperation with the foundation. He thanked its administration for preparing computer lab with 36 devices in a Palestinian camp school. Emphasizing on the importance to strengthening relationship between the university and President Mahmoud Abbas foundation to implement several programs in the future serving Palestinian camps refugee students.

University president Prof. Dr. Abu Zuhri praised the President Mahmoud Abbas foundation efforts and continuous support for Palestinians in Lebanese and Palestinian camps, especially whom aspiring to pursue their university education. Saying “University's contribution to Palestine’s education sector is an act of national duty and social responsibility towards our people. We at the Arab American University harness its potential to serve Palestine’s education sector through supporting students, providing them with necessary training in many vital areas”.

Dr. Diab presented detailed explanation on the university for the CEO of President Mahmoud Abbas Foundation, its bachelor and master programs, and training centers. Stressing, the university will implement programs and help the foundation to continue working with refugees’ students through activities, training courses and support.
