The Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at the Arab American University participated via Zoom in a joint scientific meeting with Kunming Medical University in China.

During the meeting, which was attended by a group of faculty students, Professor Dr. Amer Jawabreh from the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences delivered a lecture on leishmaniasis in Palestine. He reviewed the innovative method of detecting this disease in humans and carriers simultaneously using modern chain reaction. It is worth noting that this research was published in a prestigious journal.

For his part, Dr. Mohammad Amro, Dean of the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, praised this participation with the Chinese University and its positive effects through the exchange of science and knowledge.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the Institute of Neurosciences at the Chinese University presented a visual tour of all departments of the institute and informed the attendees of China's progress in medical sciences, and promised more cooperation with the Arab American University Palestine.
