The President of the Arab American University, Dr. Bara Asfour, received a delegation from the municipality of Sinjil, headed by the Mayor, Dr. Moataz Abd Alrahman, who visited the University with the aim of strengthening cooperation and learning about new developments in the University’s achievements at the academic and research levels.

The President of the University received the delegation, with the presence of his advisor for public relations affairs and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Fadi Jumaa. Dr. Asfour welcomed the guest delegation and gave them an explanation about the University, its faculties and academic programs on its campuses in Jenin and Ramallah, and stressed that the University is keen to enhance cooperation with all institutions of the country, especially municipalities, providing them with staffs and competencies of students, and providing support to their employees through training in various fields of common interest, which would enhance citizens’ confidence in the services provided by municipalities.

For his part, Dr. Moataz Abd Alrahman congratulated Dr. Asfour for assuming the position of President of the Arab American University, and pointed out that the municipality of Sinjil seeks to enhance cooperation through this visit, and to open horizons for joint work between the two parties to benefit from the University’s expertise in various fields.
