The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Arab American University, Professor Dr. Malik Zeben, conducted a field visited of the two hospitals, Istishari and Specialized in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to check on the progress of the training work of the faculty students in the aforementioned hospitals.

This visit came within the framework of the Faculty of Medicine at the University's continuous efforts to improve the quality of medical education, provide new things for its students, and train students in the supervision and specialization part of the University's strategy to support its academic partnerships, and provide the best opportunities for its students, in an effort to prepare graduates suitable to face the challenges of new medical work and high professionalism.

Doctors, in both hospitals, expressed their appreciation for the experimental academic level of the students of the Arab American University. Doctors praised students’ scientific capabilities and readiness to learn, stressing their full competence to support this diverse and varied contribution in refining the skills of students.

From his part, Dr. Malik Zeben, thanked the Istishari and the Specialized hospitals for their cooperation. He confirmed that this training represents an important step in the path of preparing students for the challenges of medical work.

He pointed out that the University seeks to provide the best training opportunities for its students in partnership with leading medical institutions, which enhances their professional readiness and contributes to the development of the healthcare sector in general.

Professor Dr. Malik Zeben met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of the Specialized Hospital, His Excellency Dr. Fawzi Al-Hamouri, His Excellency the Medical Director Dr. Hani Al-Kurdi, Director of the Specialized Center for Training and Training Mr. Louay Sahawneh, Director of Medical Education, Radiology Ward Dr. Saleh Al-Araj, Department of General Surgery Dr. Mustafa Istaitieh, Ward of Internal Medicine Dr. Ibrahim Adam.

At the Istishari hospital, Dr. Zaben met with Dr. Majida Al-Jallad, Director of Training and Medical Education and Consultant in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility, Dr. Ayman Hamouda, Head of the Internal Medicine Ward, and Dr. Ali Al-Halabi, Head of the Pediatrics Ward, in addition to the heads of the various Wards and members of the teaching staff.

The visit included a meeting between Professor Dr. Malik Zaben, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Arab American University, and the trainee students. He stressed to them the importance of this training opportunity on the academic and professional levels in the future. He pointed out the University’s supportive role for these steps from all aspects, and his pride in the distinguished academic level of the students who excelled in all training specializations, as attested to by the training doctors at the Specialized and Istishari Hospitals.
