The President of the International Federation of Occupational Therapy visited the Arab American University to view the occupational therapy program and discuss ways of cooperation between the two parties.

The President of the Union was received by Professor Dr. Ali Zedan Abu Zuhri, President of the University, and the vice presidents, Dr. Muayad Abusaa, Professor Dr. Mohammad Asia, Dr. Muhammad Amr, Dean of the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, and the occupational therapy staff.

During the meeting, Professor Dr. Abu Zuhri gave a detailed explanation of the University, its goals and vision for higher education in Palestine. He spoke about the importance of the specializations offered by the University and the extent of their compatibility with the local, regional and international labor market through study plans and laboratories equipped to meet the best international specifications for academic programs.

The President of the Federation had a field tour during which she was briefed on occupational therapy laboratories and other departments to discuss ways of cooperation and partnership in academic work.
