The President of the Arab American University, Prof. Dr. Ali Zedan Abu Zuhri, received a delegation from the Alpha Omega Company from the occupried Palestinian lands, who visited the university to discuss ways of cooperation between the University and the company.

The company's delegation consisted of Nabil Sakran and Reem Younus. In addition to the university president, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muayad Abusaa, Chairman of Board of Directors of Hassib Sabbagh Center, Eng. Muhannad Hijawi, Vice President for Information Technology Eng. Bahgat Ayasi, Deputy Vice President for Planning and Development Affairs, Dr. Sami Sader, and Director of the Quality and Development Office, Eng. Ahmed Fuad.

The two parties discussed ways of joint cooperation between the university and the company, provided that a branch of the company with research and development task is established in the university campus. It provides the logistical supplies and what it needs to carry out its tasks. Alpha Omega is specialized in manufacturing and developing advanced technological systems in the field of neurosurgery. The company also has multiple advanced technological solutions. It has partners and cooperation with many hospitals in countries around the world, including Mayo Clinic in the United States of America.

The two parties agreed to hold many meetings between them. At the end of the meeting, an agreement was concluded between the Arab American University and Alpha Omega.
