With the presence of some of the vice presidents and the Deans of the Faculties, Prof. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri- AAUP President welcomes Brigadier Azzam Jbara- the Police Chief of Jenin and the accompanied delegation.

Brigadier Jbara listened to a detailed explanation about the university, its infrastructure developments and its academic achievements which the latest was the BA in Medicine program, as those achievements have great positive effects on Jenin and on Palestine. Prof. Abu Zuhri also talked about the procedures for the academic year of 2020 / 2021 that will start next month and asserted on the importance of cooperating with the community institutions especially the police services to guarantee the success of this academic year.

Brigadier Jbara congratulated AAUP on the accreditation of the Bachelor in Medicine program and ensured that this is an important program and step to improve the health sector in Palestine and in jenin governorate. He also expressed that AAUP forms an essential part of the daily police work as they work to provide maximum levels of safety and security for its students and staff.

At the end of the visit, Brigadier Jbara honored Prof. Abu Zuhri by handing him the Police Shield.
