The Department of Psychological and Social Counseling at the Deanship of Student Affairs at the Arab American University organized two workshops, the first entitled "Self-Development Skills" and the second entitled "Management of Psychological Stress" for a group of university students from various faculties.

Dr. Laila Herzallah, the Psychological and Social Counseling Officer at the University, confirmed that the first workshop dealt with knowledge of the most important methods of self-development to build a personality capable of keeping pace with modern society developments, organizing and managing time, good listening, the skill of learning permanently, and developing the ability to communicate, flexibility and positivity in dealing with other people.

She added that the second workshop focused on how to manage psychological stress for students, and defining the concept of stress, its causes, symptoms and treatment through motive exercises, the use of expressive arts methods, discussion and brainstorming.

For his part, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Fadi Jumaa, indicated that the University pays great attention to building the personality of students, in addition to the academic and teaching side, through meetings and communication with experienced people, access to various sources of knowledge, and providing students with practical skills that help them to engage in society after graduation, and knowledge of themselves in a way that enables them to obtain the best life opportunities in all aspects.
