The Vice President Office for Planning and Academic Quality Affairs hosted the representative of Erasmus Program in Palestine Dr. Nidal Jayousi, in the presence of academic and administrative bodies and students to introduce projects funded by the institution and the opportunity of academic exchanges with European universities.

The VP for Planning and Quality Affairs Dr. Muath Sabha opened the meeting and welcomed the audience, as he assured the importance of this introductory meeting to present the main projects funded by Erasmus, Pointing out the importance of cooperation with institutions for academic development and scientific research.

the representative of Erasmus Program in Palestine, Dr. Nidal Jayousi presented a full definition of the program, pointing out that the goal of the projects is to build the capacity of Palestinian universities and networking with European universities, pointing out that there is an academic exchange between students and universities, indicating competition between universities when presenting ideas to the institution. As he referred that Arab American University is taking advanced steps to benefit from Erasmus program, and has addressed the mechanism of applying for the program.

At the end of the meeting the guest listened to the audience questions and discussions, as they discussed a number of ideas that they can benefit from.
