Arab American University in its Ramallah city site welcomed a delegation of Public Relations and Media Directors in the Civil & Security Organization, the delegation visited the site to check its progress and look into cooperation and partnership in common interest issues.

University President Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, Academic Consultant for University Directors Board Dr. Waleed Deib, University President Assistant for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mr. Faleh Abu Arra, Ramallah’s university site director Mr. Mohammad Sabaaneh, AAUP Public Relations Departments Mr. Fathi Amour and Graduate Studies Programs Administer Coordinator Mrs. Wala’ Abu Seif, all welcomed the delegation.

During the reception, Dr. Abu Zuhri gave detailed explanation on the Arab American University vision, goals and continues academic improvement to keep up with the world and technology advancement, giving specific details on AAU’s Bachelor and Master degrees and its international and scientific partnerships with Arab, American and European universities.

He pointed that the Arab American University Directors Board have provided scholarships with fixed discount rates for members of security services and staff of ministries and civic institutions wishing to enroll in graduate programs at AAU, this comes from responsibility towards Palestinians and to pursuit development in various fields.

Dr. Abu Zuhri said “Arab American University, a Palestinian university for everyone, although it’s kind of new yet its accomplishments are great. Since the very beginning excellence was its model to make a quantum leap in Palestine’s higher education by following advanced modern education principles and patterns, which will graduate batches of youth apple to compete in both domestic and global markets. Today, it has been achieved, dozens of students working in many international companies in Europe, America and Gulf states, became what they are now thanks to Arab American University which offered them modern science, raising competition spirit and self-confidence in themselves and their ability to be international.”

Presidential Guards Media & Public Relations Director Dr. Ghasan Nimr thanked the university for the visit, saying “On behalf of the Supreme Committee for media and public relations in security services, the elected Committee of public relations and media in institutions & civil ministries and public relations directors in the ministries, our sincere thanks to the Arab American University for its warm reception and the allocation scholarships for employees of the security services and staff of ministries, confirming the university's quest to enhance the sense of responsibility and developing Palestinian institutions with its great experiences in various scientific fields

He added, we’re happy to visit the Arab American University in Ramallah and we are proud of this educational institution for its academic excellence and graduates that their accomplishments can be seen on local organizations, wishing them all success.

During the meeting, introductory film on AAUP were presented for the delegation to show AAU’s specializations, achievements and development projects along with the students’ level. The delegation took a tour to get to know the university campus, facilities, its future plans and the offered Master Degrees.
