AAUP organizes Weight Lifting Championship hosted by the International bodybuilding champion Ayman Fahmi Merai, who won several local and international championships, also attended by head of Sports Facilities dept. Mr. Odai Daraghmeh, and PR Manager Fathi Amor.

The Trainer Fahd Mustafa was the supervisor of the championship, where 20 students participated in the champ, they started by lifting 60 kg.

First place was Ali Naji he lifted 150kg, second place was both Laith Shrem and Mohammad Turkman they lifted 130 kg, the players were awarded and the champion Ayman Fahmi Merai was honored for his achievements.
