Dr. Nisreen Salama is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the Department of Nursing, Arab American University – Palestine. Her research is situated in the field of Nursing and Midwifery, with a special focus on Gestational Diabetes Mellitus and topics related to women’s health. Dr. Salama has 15 years of academic experience. She teaches several courses on Nursing, Midwifery, and Pediatrics, including Introduction to Nursing, Health Promotion and Health Education, Health Assessment, Maternal and Child Health, Pediatrics and Neonates, Family Planning, Gynecological courses, Developmental Psychology, and Ethics in Nursing. Additionally, she supervises seminars and graduation projects for undergraduates, as well as master's theses. Dr. Salama also provides training in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for nurses and doctors. She serves as the Quality Coordinator and oversees labs at the Arab American University – Palestine, and is a member of the curriculum committee in the nursing college. She is a hard worker, eager to learn, and ready to face new challenges
