I am Dr. Hamada Imtara, an Assistant Professor of Physiology, Pharmacology, and Environmental Health at the Arab American University. I hold a PhD from Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez, Morocco. My research interests focus on the pharmacological activities of natural products, particularly bee-derived compounds and medicinal plants. I have authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and actively participate in national and international scientific conferences. I am passionate about research, academic development, and fostering a rich learning environment for students through evidence-based knowledge and practical experience.
- Since 2019, I have been serving as an Assistant Professor at the Arab American University, where I teach a range of courses including Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, and Biology for medical and nursing students.
- Previously, during my PhD studies, I was involved in supervising Master’s and professional license students and co-teaching laboratory work under the supervision of Prof. Badiaa Lyoussi.
