The Arab American University announces openings for Part-Time Faculty Members in the Faculty of Information Technology / Department of Artificial Intelligence at Jenin Campus, beginning with the Spring semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.

Faculty members are expected to be able to teach and deliver engaging lectures, be committed to conveying essential knowledge and skills to students, and maintain high standards of professionalism, dedication, and positive role-modeling.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teaching and delivering both in-person and online lectures.
• Preparing and administering exams and assessments.
• Conducting research and participating in academic seminars.
• Meeting academic deadlines.
• Contributing to curriculum evaluation and development.
• Providing academic advising and guidance to students.
• Supervising student research projects.
• Maintaining regular office hours.

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:

• A Ph.D. or Master’s degree from a recognized university in one of the following fields:
  • Computer Science
  • Multimedia Technology
  • Cybersecurity and Networks
  • Artificial Intelligence and Robotics
  • Machine Learning & Deep Learning
• At least one year of academic and teaching experience after earning the Ph.D. or Master’s degree is preferred.
• A record of published research in peer-reviewed scientific journals is preferred.
