The Arab American University (AAUP) is announcing openings for qualified and passionate Part-time Faculty Members at the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts on the Ramallah campus, starting with the Fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.

Faculty members are expected to deliver engaging lectures and interactive sessions, demonstrate a solid commitment to transferring knowledge and essential skills, maintain high professional standards, and serve as positive role models for students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Deliver on-campus and online lectures for technical courses, including Engineering Drawing, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, RHINO, and SolidWorks.
2. Prepare, administer, and grade examinations and assessments.
3. Conduct academic research and actively participate in scientific seminars and conferences.
4. Adhere to academic deadlines and schedules.
5. Contribute to curriculum evaluation, review, and development.
6. Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
7. Supervise students’ research projects.
8. Maintain required office hours, as agreed upon.

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:

• PhD or Master’s degree from an accredited university in one of the following specializations:
  • Architecture
  • Interior Design

• A minimum of two years of teaching experience is preferred.

• Published research in peer-reviewed journals is highly preferred.

• two years of practical experience in the field of Architecture or Interior Design.

•  Proficiency in engineering and design software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, RHINO, and SolidWorks.
