The Arab American University (AAUP) is announcing openings for qualified and passionate Part-time Faculty Members at the Faculty of Engineering on the Ramallah campus, starting with the Fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.

Faculty members are expected to deliver engaging lectures and interactive sessions, demonstrate a solid commitment to transferring knowledge and essential skills, maintain high professional standards, and serve as positive role models for students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teaching and delivering both in-person and online lectures.
• Preparing and administering exams and assessments.
• Conducting research and participating in academic seminars.
• Meeting academic deadlines.
• Contributing to curriculum evaluation and development.
• Providing academic advising and guidance to students.
• Supervising student research projects.
• Maintaining regular office hours.

Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:

•  A Ph.D. or Master’s degree from a recognized university in one of the following fields:
  • Computer Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
• At least two years of academic and teaching experience after earning the Ph.D. or Master’s degree is preferred.
• A record of published research in peer-reviewed scientific journals is preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in academic research is preferred.
• Practical experience in the job market is considered an asset.
