Professor Asia, currently holds the position of AAUP President Assistant for Medical Faculties, and the Dean Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences. Prof Asia has obtained his PhD in nursing from the university of San Diego (USA). He has taught at California state university, Chico for over 12 years and promoted to a full professor there.
Prof. Asia possesses high aspirations to prompting excellence in education through the provision of distinguished academic and clinical programs that adopts reality teaching practices and innovative teaching methodologies.
A premier invention of Prof. Asia was introducing the concept of simulation technology in medical education at AAUP. He also assisted its application at other National Palestinian Universities. Furthermore, he assisted in the establishment of variety of medical centers, master and doctoral degree programs in joint with national universities and institutions.
