The AAUP Prosthetics and Orthotics Factory is the first and most modern factory in the Middle East. It is equipped with the latest machines, equipment and technologies that meet the work requirements. The factory includes 9 sections i.e. 9 stages for manufacturing a limb or device capable of creating hope and renewing life for patients.
The factory has a medical staff and experts to provide the best medical services in terms of diagnosing the patients, prescribing the appropriate device or limb for them, and manufacturing it completely in a way that suits and treats the injury appropriately.
The Factory is also concerned with teaching and training prosthetics and Orthotics students with the best capabilities to graduate students with the classification of first specialist, accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Health, and the World Limb Organization, so that the students become able to understand and confront the challenges and changing needs in the Palestinian and Western societies.
The Factory management is looking forward to introducing the most recent technologies in the field of prosthetics and orthotics, meeting all the needs of patients, and covering all the needs of the local and foreign markets at the level of the Middle East for the necessary services, in addition to being respected in quality education and training of students.

The Continuing Education Center was established in Arab American University to be a center which provides services to the local Palestinian community and offer continuing education services and opportunities to all levels of the community.

The Arab American University nursing simulation technology Center has been established in September 2015, and is considered the first of its kind in Palestine. The simulation technology center is expected to serve as a regional leader and reference for all other collegial universities in the delivery of high-fidelity simulation education and research.

تم إنشاء مركز المحاكاة التكنولوجي في التمريض في الجامعة العربية الأمريكية في شهر أيلول من العام 2015، والذي يعتبر المركز الأول من نوعه في فلسطين وقد تم تجهيزه بشكل متكامل ليصبح المرجعية لجميع المهتمين بتطور تعليم التمريض وذلك بمساعدة أدوات المحاكاة عالية الدقة وان يستخدم في تطوير الأبحاث التي لها علاقة مع التعليم التمريضي.
يعد تعليم التمريض المعتمد على المحاكاة نهج تعليمي ذو انتشار واسع، حيث يوفر الفرصة للطلبة لاكتساب وممارسة المهارات السريرية اللازمة لاتخاذ القرارات من خلال تجارب حياتية وسيناريوهات واقعية وفي بيئة آمنة.
يعتمد مركز المحاكاة التكنولوجي في التمريض على مبدأ التميز في التطبيقات العملية لجميع نواحي التعليم في التمريض من خلال التعليم الابتكاري وباستخدام التكنولوجيا الفنية والتقنية عالية الجودة مثل المحاكاة عالية الدقة للمريض البشري. بحيث يتم تزويد الطلبة وأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية بمصادر المعرفة اللازمة والتي تساهم في جودة وسلامة وكفاءة الرعاية التمريضية المقدمة للمريض وبالتالي تعكس القيم المهنية والاحترام والأمان والنزاهة والتنوع والتميز.
تكمن رؤية الجامعة العربية الأمريكية في تعزيز التميز لمركز المحاكاة التكنولوجي في التمريض والذي من شأنه أن يرفع مستوى الطلبة في فهم وممارسة المهارات السريرية والرعاية التمريضية الشاملة للمريض بأمان.
إن رسالة مركز المحاكاة التكنولوجي في التمريض تنبع من الفهم العميق الخاص بتوفير بيئة تعليمية آمنة مليئة بالتجارب وذات جودة عالية من خلال استخدام القرارات المبنية على أفضل الأدلة المثبتة علميا وذلك لسد الفجوة بين المجال النظري والتطبيق العملي في التمريض. ان هذا المركز مزود ومجهز بأعلى وسائل التكنولوجيا العالية الجودة والتي تثري التجربة التعليمية للطلبة وأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية على حد سواء من أجل تحسين وتطوير البحث العلمي، والكفاءة العالية في التواصل، والرعاية التي تعتبر المريض مركز العملية والخدمة التمريضية وبالتالي تحسين مخرجات الرعاية التمريضية للمرضى وتعزيز النتائج الصحية من خلال التدريب والتقييم المبني على المحاكاة.
1. تطوير العلم والتعليم المبني على المحاكاة وذلك بالمساهمة في مجال المعرفة المتنامي ودعم وتحفيز دور المحاكاة في علم الرعاية الصحية لتحسين نتائج الرعاية التمريضية للمرضى.
2. تطوير وتعزيز التفكير النقدي وصياغة القرارات السريرية والمهارات اليدوية والمهنية للطلبة بما يصب في مصلحة المرضى
3. العمل على تحضير وتدريب مهنيين صحيين قادرين على تزويد المجتمع بخدمات تمريضية استثنائية تستند على اخلاق مهنية عالية
4. تعزيز دور الأبحاث العلمية في التمريض وحث طلبة التمريض على المشاركة في صنع القرارات المتداخلة مع التخصصات الاخرى والتي تخدم مصلحة المريض.
The Arab American University nursing simulation technology Center has been established in September 2015, and is considered the first of its kind in Palestine. The simulation technology center is expected to serve as a regional leader and reference for all other collegial universities in the delivery of high-fidelity simulation education and research.
Simulation-based nursing education is an increasingly popular pedagogical approach. It provides students with opportunities to practice their clinical and decision-making skills through various real-life situational experiences in a safe environment.
The nursing simulation technology center portrays excellence in all aspects of nursing education through its innovative teaching using state of the art technology such as high-fidelity human patient simulation. Students and faculty are provided with the resources and knowledge to facilitate quality, safety, and efficiency of patient care reflecting the Values of Professionalism, Respect, Safety, Integrity, Diversity, and Excellence.
AAUP envision provision of excellence in Nursing Simulation that potentially maximize nursing student’s clinical reasoning, comprehensive care and patient’s safety practices.
The mission of the Simulation technology center is to provide an experiential, high quality safe learning environment through the utilization of best evidence based clinical decision-making in bridging the gap between theory and practice. The center is equipped with high-fidelity technologies to enhance students, faculty with exceptional educational techniques to promote research development, culturally competence, communication, collaborative inter-professional patient centered care, thus improving patient safety and health outcomes through excellent simulation-based training and assessment.
1. Advance the science of simulation-based education by contributing to the growing body of knowledge and supporting the role of simulation in healthcare education and improved patient outcomes.
2. Develop critical thinking, clinical decision-making, and psychomotor skills of students in the care of center clients.
3. Prepare ethical, and safe practitioners capable to provide exceptional nursing service to the community.
4. Enhance the role of Nursing research and interdisciplinary practices among nursing students.
تأسس مركز التعليم المستمر كأحد أهم مراكز الجامعة العربية الأمريكية لخدمة المجتمع المحلي الفلسطيني لتوفير فرص التعليم المستمر لجميع شرائح المجتمع. ولمواكبة التطورات في مجالات التعليم والتدريب والمشاريع التنموية المستدامة وتنمية قدراتهم لمواكبة تحديات العصر، ورفع كفاءة ادائهم علميا وفنيا وتطبيقيا للإسهام بفعالية بمشاريع الاعمار والتنمية في سوق العمل الفلسطيني يعمل المركز على توظيف الإمكانيات والقدرات المتميزة لموظفي الجامعة وأعضاء هيئتها التدريسية في المجالات والتخصصات كافة. مركز التعليم المستمر متخصص في مسارات عدة: أولا: يوفر المركز دورات تدريبية وورش عمل وندوات ومؤتمرات واستشارات متخصصة في مختلف المجالات الادارية والعلمية والتقنية والمجتمعية للقطاعين الخاص والعام. ثانيا: الدبلومات المهنية المتخصصة: يعمل المركز على منح درجة الدبلوم المهني المتخصص في عدة مجالات (سنة دراسية واحدة) . شعارنا جعل المتدربين لدينا احترافيين وتزويدهم بمسارات وظيفية وذلك من خلال دورات تدريبية بكفاءة عالية، مكثفة ومتخصصة حكمة : لا يزال المرء عالماَ ما دام في طلب العلم ، فإذا ظن أنه قد علم فقد بدأ جهله.
يسعى مركز التعليم المستمر إلى أن يكون مركزاً ريادياً. وقاعدة فاعلة لخدمة المجتمع الفلسطيني المحلي، بما يسهم في تحقيق رؤية واهداف الجامعة والتنمية المستدامة.
• يسعى المركز لتوفير برامج تدريبيه مميزة على مستويات عالمية، واستقطاب أعضاء هيئة تدريبيه مؤهلين. • يعمل المركز على خلق بيئة منفتحة للتبادل التدريبي والمعرفي من خلال التشبيك واتفاقيات التعاون مع مراكز ومؤسسات محليه ودوليه. • يعزز المركز قيم مبادئ الأخلاق لدى المتدربين ويشجع الرغبة لدى أعضاء الهيئة التدريبية والمتدربين لخدمة المجتمع المحلي. • الاستمرار في توفير خدمات التدريب المهني والتقني وإعداد المشاريع التنموية وتنفيذها. • تجويد الخدمات التي يقدمها المركز وفق المعايير المحلية والعالمية و”أفضل الممارسات الدولية”، بما يتماشى مع رسالة الجامعة وأهدافها.
يهدف المركز في مجمل نشاطاته الى تحقيق الاهداف التالية: 1. تصميم دورات بمواصفات عالية. 2. إدارة وتنفيذ برنامج الدبلوم المهني والتشبيك. 3. الشراكة المجتمعية والتشبيك المؤسساتي مع المؤسسات الفلسطينية والإقليمية والدولية. 4. خدمات التدريب المهني والتقني والاستشارات المالية والإدارية والفنية عالية الجودة للمجتمع المحلي. 5. توفير فرص التعلم مدى الحياة ( ( Life Long Learningالمبنية على الشراكة المجتمعية لجميع أفراد الشعب الفلسطيني. 6. تحقيق رؤية واهداف ورسالة الجامعة.
