Biography:
Orwa Houshia earned his BS degree from Pittsburg State University in 1994, followed by an MS degree from the same university in 1998. Afterwards, worked at QWAL Laboratory in Pittsburg analyzing drinking water for pesticides, herbicides with GC-MS and HPLC. Then moved on to work at Oread Pharmaceutical Research LAB in Lawrence, Kansas, at the pharmaco-Kinetics unit analyzing tritiated water extracted from organs from mice to check where the medicine was most absorbed, and also with Iodine-131, the radioisotope of iodine to check if medicine was absorbed in the thyroids, as well as Carbon-14 radioisotope using scintillation analyzer. Then Ph.D. scholarship award to attend University of Arkansas, Fayetteville where the Ph.D. was obtained in 2005, and worked as assistant professor until 2008. From 2009 up until 2014, he worked as assistant professor at AAUJ, then promoted to Associate professor in 2014. I have wide range interests in specifically in organic synthesis, polymer, olive oil analysis, instrumental analysis, and A.I.
