The University’s Library Participates in the International Book Fair in Al Sharja

Mr. Hassan Al-Said- the director of the university library, participated in the International Book Fair that was held in Al-Sharja under the auspices of Shikh Sultan Al Qasmi- Al-Sharja Ruler and with the participation of thousands of Arabic and foreign publishing houses.

Many books were purchased from different publishing houses to enrich the library of the university with books for the new specializations that were recently accredited. Many other books were purchased to fill the library with new books to support the research and educational process in the university.

Mr. Al-Said also had a meeting with the Chairman of the Al Sharja Book Authority- Ahmad Bin Rekad Al-Ameri to discuss means of future cooperation.

During the Conference

AAUP participates in Anti-Corruption Conference in Palestine under the title of “The Opportunities & Challenges: 5 Years of the Palestinian membership to the UN Convention against Corruption”. The Conference was supervised by Shams Center for Human Rights and Democracy, and the Friedrich Neumann Foundation for Freedom.

During the Conference Dr. Dalal Iriqat VP and lecturer of Conflict Resolution and Strategic Planning at Faculty of Graduate Studies presented a research paper about “The extent of Palestine’s commitment to the requirements of the UN conventions against corruption through legislative, executive and judicial measures”.

AAUP Participates in the 21st Innovative Forum in United Arab Emirates

AAUP participated in the 21st Innovative Forum for students at Al-Ain University in United Arab Emirates

The Student Rawan Ekmail from faculty of Administrative & Financial Sciences participated in the forum in a research paper entitled “The impact of University Culture on improving individual innovation for students of Business Faculties in North WB” under the supervision of Dr. Raed Iriqat, the research won second prize within the humanitarian applied axis.

Also Dr. Nizam Diab VP of Training Affairs participated as Head of committee for the applied scientific axis, and Dr. Bashar Daraghmeh VP of Student Affairs head of committee of applied Human axis
