Landscape architects use design and ecology to plan our external environments. Therefore, they form an essential part in our experience of living, in city squares, neighborhoods, urban forests, parks, streets, and all green infrastructure. Landscape architecture is also a profession that combines both art and science in one integrated design process. It is the profession that designs, plans and manages the shape and function of our land. Landscape architects deal with places such as parks, residential developments, all arts of campuses, gardens, commercial centers, resorts, corporate and institutional centers and waterfront developments… etc. Besides, the appreciation for historic landscapes and cultural resources enables landscape architects to undertake an essential role in preservation planning projects for local, regional and national historic sites and areas. more
 

This degree with a specialization in waste management provides students with the skills needed to manage, organize, and respond to issues related to waste production and reduction. The “Environmental Sciences & technology” program is distinguished by linking the different environmental issues like water, soil food and climate changes with the modern. The student will acquire the needed skills to perform the environmental testes by acquiring the required knowledge of the modern technological procedures   for testing of food and agricultural products, water and the environmental pollutants. The graduate student will be able to work in different sectors and institutions like the ministries of Environment, Agriculture, Education, Labor & Health, the Water Authority, in addition to the private institutions that deals with food, agriculture and water.  more
 

Electrical Engineering & Renewable Energy (ELERE) program has been carefully designed to satisfy the needs of the Palestinian community, in graduating electrical engineers with particular expertise in renewable energy. Students in this program will be taught, trained, and qualified to serve the ever-important electrical power system and the fast-growing sector of renewable energies and their integration into conventional electrical grids.

Electrical engineers with strong knowledge in renewable energy sources can be stakeholders of global concerns such as the future of conventional resources of energy, gas emissions, pollution, and environment. Therefore, well-educated, trained, and experienced electrical engineers in the field of energy and renewable energy are immanently needed. This is exactly what this program aims at producing. more
