Overview:

Arab American University Center For Research and Polling was established in 2020 to foster and support quantitative research and data science culture across private sector and public sector organizations in Palestine and the Arab region.

AAUP center for research and polling works on supporting Palestinian universities research community with reliable data that contributes to helping researchers publish quality papers in both local, regional and international academic Journals.  The center supports nurture data-driven decision making among decision makers in both public and private organization.  This is done through providing them with the necessary data and cutting-edge analytics methods.

The center advises faculty and graduate students on the design and implementation of observational studies using sample surveys.  The center assists in the design and formulation of research questions, design of sampling protocols, data collection process, data analysis and reporting.  The center works on connecting researchers with the regional and international networks focused on quantitative research.  The center encourages faculty and graduate students to utilize data science tools in their research such as Cluster analysis, Conjoint analysis, Discriminant analysis and predictive analytics.

The staff at AAUP center for research and polling have solid experience in designing and implementing experimental and observational studies. The center at AAUP has access to local, regional and international data sources that can be used through cutting edge analytics methods to serve private and public sector organizations.  AAUP center for research and polling helps many sectors utilize data analytics techniques such as predictive analytic techniques to support their decision-making processes. Some of these sectors are telecom, security, environment, health, education, economic growth, local government units etc.
