President of the Arab American University Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri received a delegation from Hope Foundation, who visited the university to meet the students who got Hope Scholarship. This was done in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, and the decision-maker of the local committee, Dr. Abdullah Walweel.
The president welcomed the visiting delegation and praised their role in supporting the Palestinian institutions, by providing scholarships for students of the Palestinian universities. He notified that the university is used to offering scholarships to students, who succeed in high school “Tawjihi” and get the first top scores, in addition to scholarships for honor students.
In turn, the head of the delegation Coeckelenbergh Anne, expressed his happiness by visiting the university. He also praised its role in providing the Palestinian labor market with qualified graduates, who have proved their proffessioncy.
Afterwards, the delegation had a meeting with the decision-maker of the local committee Dr. Abdullah Walweel, the Dean of Student Affairs, and the students who were granted scholarships by this foundation.
At the end of their visit, the delegation went on a tour in the university, and they identified its facilities and departments.
