Professor MAhmoud Abu Mwais, the president of the Arab American University congratulated brigadier Ibrahim Ramadan for the trust he earned by the President Mahmoud Abbas to be the mayor of Jenin, and wished him the best of luck and success in providing the best for Jenin city.
Professor Abu Mwais was accompanied with Dr. Nour Al-Deen AbuAlrub, the vice president for the academic affairs and Dr. Tariq Kmail, the Dean of the Faculty of Law.Professro Abu Mwasi also carried warm regards to the brigadier from Dr. Yousef Asfour, the head of the board of directors, and Dr. Mohammad Ishtayeh the head of the board of trustees, and assured that choosing Mr. Ramadan was the best decision in putting the right man in the right place.
Professor Abu Mwais also gave a clarified explanation on the AAUJ, its faculties, programs, developing projects, continues working to apply the modern teaching techniques in
Palestine and its goal to raise Jenin city as a cultural, scientific and economical center nationally and internationally.
Brigadier Ramadan appreciated the visit adding that “establishing this university was a wise decision and a courage investment of the board of directors who won the bet and challenged the circumstances especially that the university started all along with the Intefada, and this shows that great determination and solid will are able to build a bright future to our generations and give hope to the Palestinian people.”
“Jenin city really appreciates the accomplishments that the university achieved in a short period of time, and its ready to enhance its place in Palestine as one of the most important educational and economical center” Mr. Ramadan added.
Professor Abu Mwais invited Mr. Ramadan to visit the university to see the buildings and the facilities, and meet the faculty and the administrational staff members.
