A group of the Arab American University students visited some patients at Jenin’s Governmental Hospital. This visit was organized by the Deanship of the Students’ Affairs under cooperation with the English Language Department to strengthen the connection with the local community.
The social worker at the Deanship of the students’ affairs Ms. Laila Herzallah indicated that the goal from this visit is to strengthen the relations between the students of the Social and Psychological Guidance Club and the patients of the hospital..JPG)
Hussain Qabha, the Head of the Nursing Department at the hospital appreciated this step from the University for this great humanitarian feeling and the psychological and social support. This visit helped in reducing the pain that patients especially kids are suffering.
During the visit, students gave the workers and the patients and the kids some gifts, flowers and toys. They also did entertaining activities and some of the students donated blood to the hospital.
