The University celebrates the closure of the training program “Osool” that trained students to the mechanism of working at the Arab Bank

The University and the Arab Bank celebrated the closure of Osool Program that trained the university students on the Arab Bank Mechanism, and the banking related issues that will benefit students in their future work lives.
65 students participated in this intense workshop in order to develop their skills and experiences. Dr. Nitham Thiab, the university’s vice-president for the Community Affairs said that the university always cares about developing the student’s skills through organizing such great training courses under the cooperation with the private and governmental sectors, so that students will find it easier to blend with the labour market locally and internationally. He clarified that the university has three basics for progress and developing, the academic side, the scientific research, and the services to the local community.


The Manager of the Arab Bank North Branches Mr. Issam Salameh appreciated the university role in developing students’ skills while they are still studing, and said that Osool program is a unique training program that reflects the banking work related issues and comes as a complementary to the theoretical teaching role of the universities.
