The Arabic Language and Media Department at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the Arab American University hosted a delegation from Birzeit University- the Media Development Centre, who visited the university to arrange a lecture for the students of the department.
The Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dr. Mohammad AbuSamra asserted on the importance of the Palestinian Media that transfers the Palestinian message to the world especially under the continuous Israeli practices for over 60 years.
Fathi Imour, the Public Relation department Manager at the Arab American University gave a good explanation about the university and its mission and goals. He said that the University always looks for cooperation with different organizations for the benefit of the students.

Mr. Aref Hejjawi, the Media Development Center Manager affirmed the significance of learning that is different than teaching. He also talked about the local labor demand as he said: “this market is concerned in the Palestinian issues and in covering the events, this market is huge for the Palestinian journalists”.
