The University signed an agreement with the Jordanian ATS to start the supplying and installation of the new modern system to the admission and registration to the students and also to manage the data to be compatible with the university needs.
Mr. Faleh AbuArrah, The Assistant to the president for the Administrative and Financial Affairs, and the General Manager at the ATS Mr. Najeh A’mer, with the presence of the University Academic Councillor Professor Waleed Deeb.
The agreement included an integral working system to manage the admission and registration deanship data and terminate all the problems that face students and employees during the admission and registration period, as this system will provide all the information about the university students.
Mr. AbuArrah said that the signing of this agreement was in the orientation frame of the Board of Directors at the AAUP in order to improve the technological services that are connected to the academic side along with the improving of the technological services that are connected to the administrative and financial sides of the university. He clarified that the implementation of the project will start right away and that it will end within a year after the signing.
He clarified that this system will be in accordance with the students and the lecturers needs and will be connected to the internet and this will enable students to apply and register at the university and to look at the academic file and the study plans wherever they are without any need to visit the admission and registration building.
He showed that this system will computerize the master programs, dentistry, the Bachelor degrees and the Diploma according to the integral information system. This will help in facing all the problems that students used to deal with from the scientific, the administrative and the financial ways. Mr. AbuArrah appreciated the members of the Board of Directors to support this project and all other technological projects of the university that reflect the university strategic in convoying the technology and the scientific development.
