The Vice-president for Planning and Development Dr. Osama Salameh organized a workshop that was targeted to the University employees about “how to write researches by using LaTeX Program”.
This workshop aimed to spot light on the LaTeX program and to develop the employees’ skills on writing researches by using this program.
Dr. Salameh mentioned that LaTeX program is one of the most important computer programs that is specialized in publishing documents, books, researches and thesis. He clarified that the strength of this program is because it uses a symbolic language similar to the language used to develop the websites, and this allows the researcher to control the research content. This technique helps in reducing the possible errors that might happen during the preparation of researches and that will produce a high quality researches. Dr. Salameh also said that this program is easy to reach and can be downloaded on the researchers computers easily and fast.
