The Arab American University participated at the 26^th Arab union conference for libraries and information that was held in Jordan under the name “libraries and information specialists”. The Arab American University was represented by Mr. Hasan Al-Said- the library manager.
The conference aims to follow up the development at the library and information sciences and to know the different Arabian and international publishing houses.

The Arab American University organized a workshop along with Sharek Youth Forum about the Palestinian labour law under the name “your right”. The workshop aimed to raise the students’ awareness about the work cases and the labour rights to guarantee their rights at the Palestinian labout market.
Dr. Nitham Thiab- the Assistant to the President for the Community Affairs started the workshop and clarified that the university always seeks to host experts and specialists so that students will be benefited from them.

The Arab American University organized the chess championship for the Palestinian universities where it hosted the teams for the third year. The university’s team got the second place while Birzeit University got the first place at the championship.
The championship comes as part of the activities of the athletic union for the Palestinian universities. 6 teams from 6 universities participate at the championship.

The Arab American University hosted a delegation from Dot Media Company who visited the university in order to make television reportage under the name of “the orientation at the university and the factors that affect students in choosing their specialities”.
The company’s staff made interviews with students among “bridges  ... to enhance the positive behaviour” program under cooperation with Hanz Zaidle institution.
