Prof. Waleed Deeb- the Academic Advisor of the Board of Directors and the Founding President announced the signing of academic relations agreement with the University of L'Aquila to start new partnership. This agreement_ that was during Prof. Deeb’s visit to the University of L'Aquila_ included the teaching of some professors of University of L'Aquila at the Data Sciences master program in AAUP during the spring semester of the academic year 2019/2020

Prof. Deeb clarified that this partnership will give a chance for students to travel to Italy during their last semester to study applied courses there and finish their thesis depending on the scientific results that they get.
During his visit, Prof. Waleed Deeb went into a tour visiting the faculties and departments of the university to study the possibility of expanding partnership to other programs.
Moreover, Prof. Deeb had a meeting with the President of University of L'Aquila, Prof. Bruno Rubino- the Vice Rector for International Relations, Dr. Anna Tozzi- Rector's consultant for the International Affairs and Dr. Antinisca Di Marco- the Head of the Data Sciences.
During this meeting, they have agreed on providing scholarships to AAUP’s employees and students to help them get their PhD in Physics, Mathematical Modeling, Sports Sciences and Bio-pharmaceutical Technology.
