The University President Professor Mahmoud AbuMwais honored the Faculty of Law Students who won the first place at the competition of “the Legal Excellence Research” that was organized by the Anti-Corruption body and the eligibility for the independence of judiciary and the rule of law (Independence) at Al-Bireh city with the participations of 17 researches by law students of the Palestinian universities in the West Bank and Gaza, under the required conditions.
The first place and the prize of 1000$ winner was from the Arab American University, the Law student “Saleh Mashhour Saleh AbuAzza” who submitted a research under the name “The United Nations Agreement against Corruption in the lights of the penal legislations”. Dareen Mohammad Taher Al-Sonono came at the fourth place and won 500$ on her research concerning the penal procedures in pursuing the accused in the Anti-Corruption cases.
